The Sarasota Military Academy has established the F.L.H.S., an Honor Society for Foreign Language Students.  The purpose of FLHS is to recognize cadets who demonstrate:  superior academic performance in foreign language, cooperative classroom attitude, dependability and personal motivation, enthusiasm for education, leadership and responsibility.  The basic goals are to recognize students who have achieved excellence in the study of World Languages, as well as to promote a greater understanding and appreciation of the culture and civilization.    

To be eligible, cadets must have successfully completed 1 and ½ semesters of the program with an 90% or better, and must have no less than a 3.5 grade point average overall.
