Congratulations to the champions at the County Science Fair on Feb. 1 2006.
Showing off their prowess in the understanding of our universe were Stephanie
waters with LEDs and music. What is an LED, well just ask her. Being negative
isn't bad shown by Adam Smith, Mack Allaman, Jake Zimmer is all about ions. Ions
are all around you, in fact you are a bunch of ions. Growth rates by Jonathan
Ott, Brad Lecture excited the crowd with gatoraide and fruit juices and plant
growth. Julie Johnes with Cuttings and plant growth showed us how to trim plants
and change the way they grow. Teri Thomas presented Rate of Dissolving medicines
so if you quick relief she can help you. Lance Duff kept things in the shade
with light and growth. Check out the guns by Nathan Stone was interesting if you
knew anything about guns. Alligators eat anything (even the 13 foot ones) by
Matt Cowles was far and away the smelliest of all of the presentations. He even
found a wrapped dog droppings in one alligators stomach.
Great job and many compliments by the judges for the performance of our future
science leaders.
