Homework:      Look in the newspaper, magazines, the internet and find an example of teens accused of a crime and the verdict of punishment. Write a brief summary of the individuals, the situation, and the outcome. Next, do you think the outcome was justified (the jurors made the right choice in sentencing)? Explain.

Can you think of a time when you’ve had to hide your skills (something you are good at) for someone else’s sake? Maybe you didn’t answer a question correctly in class to avoid looking smart in front of your peers. Explain the advantages and disadvantages of covering up your strengths to pretend as though you were “equal” to someone else. Explain.
