LET 1 JROTC
19 September 2011
Today I taught you the structure of the Eagle Regiment from Brigade/Regiment on down to teams. There will be a quiz on this material this week, and before that, as promised, there will be a quiz on the Cadet Ranks.
Make sure you study every evening, as more information will continue to come your way that will build on everything before it.
Enjoy your Evening!

Homework
JROTC Let 1 -- 1SG Thomas
14 September 2011
1. Study your cadet ranks -- a quiz is in your future.
2. Send your pants to the cleaners to have them pressed and have your entire uniform ready to go -- Some of your berets still need work. Get them wet, fold properly, and place under a level, heavy object.
3. Continue to work on your marching and stationary movements.
4. Remember to bring your entire PT uniform on Thursdays and Fridays.

7 September 2011
1. Continue shaping your berets at home. Fold them properly and place them under a heavy item while they dry, so they hold their shape. They must be brought to school EVERY day from now on, and you will hold them in your left hand during formation.
2. Continue working on your stationary movements and facing movements for drill.
3. After your shirts are washed and IRONED (with sizing or light starch), place your nametag, star, and crest on them properly (as instructed in class). Use a small piece of cardboard behind them
4. Did you buy 4-5 pairs of black (at least calf-length) socks yet?
5. We'll be learning Army and cadet ranks next week, so begin studying them in your FRESHMAN SMART BOOK.
6. REMEMBER you are required to bring a WATER BOTTLE every day! It's important to stay hydrated and healthy!
