COMMAND SERGEANT MAJOR KEITH D. DALY

 

Sergeant Major Keith D. Daly was born in London, England; and subsequently immigrated to the United States in January 1970.  After graduating from High School, he joined the California National Guard and completed Basic Training at Fort Ord, California.  He attended Advanced Individual Training at Fort Polk, Louisiana and in January 1975 changed his status from reserve to active duty.  He attended Basic Airborne School at Fort Benning, Georgia and assigned to 82ND Airborne Division there after changed his field to the Military Police Corps.

 

 

During his career he has served as a Fire Team Leader; Squad Leader; Platoon Sergeant; Drill Sergeant; Operations Sergeant; Senior Correctional Supervisor; First Sergeant; Instructor at the First Sergeant Course at Fort Bliss, Texas; Instructor at the Advanced Noncommissioned Officer Course at Fort McClellan, Alabama; Command Sergeant Major of Military Police Battalion, Fort McClellan, Alabama; Commandant of the Military Police Noncommissioned Officer Academy, Fort McClellan and the Command Sergeant Major, United States Disciplinary Barracks, Fort Leavenworth, Kansas.

 

Sergeant Major Daly's military and civilian education includes: Jungle Expert School, Junior Leadership Course, Drug Education Course, Primary Leadership Course, Basic Noncommissioned Officer Course, Basic Law Enforcement Course, Basic Correctional Course, United States Air Force Noncommissioned Officer Academy, Advanced Noncommissioned Officer Course, Drill Sergeant School, Crime Prevention Course, Conventional Physical Security Course, Instructor Training Course, Terrorism Counteraction Course, First Sergeant Course, the United States Army Sergeants Major Academy and the Command Sergeants Major Course.  He has a Bachelor of Science Degree from New York State University and is a member of the U.S. Army Europe Sergeant Morales Club.

 

Sergeant Major Daly resides in Bradenton, after completing 30 years of active duty service.
