(Freshmen)
Aloha!! My name is Sergeant Major Dennis Richardson SR, and I am a JROTC Instructor for Leadership Education and Training (LET 1). The team who instructs Freshmen JROTC are CSM Charles Thomas, 1SG Lisa- Marie Thomas and myself. We are delighted to teach Freshmen JROTC classes as a team to motivate them to become better citizens.
My goal is to provide your cadet with an experience in learning they will treasure for life. I’m ecstatic about the opportunity as well as the responsibility that comes with the program. My experience has taught me it takes a village to raise a child and the same is true in providing the best for your cadets. You are a part of both, the team and the village. Please feel free to call me at anytime. As a team we will prepare your cadet to have the best years of their high school career.
I have attached a link that will provide you with insight and information as we progress through the school year. Please take the time to view the site because it will provide you with valuable information on what your Cadet is doing in JROTC daily.
In addition you can view what uniform your cadet is required to be in, or have available throughout the week. Before I close, I would like to say I look forward to helping your cadet as well as watching them grow beyond what they can imagine. My experience as a Scoutmaster and Assistance Scoutmaster of five years afforded me the wonderful feeling who impacted over 11 young adults to become Eagle Scouts, the feeling is awesome. It is my goal to provide your cadet with the same quality of training and experience to soar beyond their imagination.
In closing, I will afford all cadets the same opportunities to prepare themselves for future challenges; however it’s their responsibility to except the challenge.
