  1. Go to guidance office to get SMA authorization forms, and MCC blue dual enrollment/early admission form
  2. Fill out these forms
  3. Call MCC to schedule time to take FPT test if you do not have qualifying SAT or ACT score.
  4. Take one of the above tests (SAT, ACT, FPT), and get a record of the results.
  5. Fill out SMA authorization forms, and the triplicate MCC Dual Enrollment/Early Admission form. Take them to Maj. Marx for approval.
  6. Take the signed triplicate form and the blue forms to MCC to get your G number (keep this number because it is necessary for access to online registration and access to your program at MCC) Take photo ID and evidence that you have a qualifying score to show the MCC registrar.
  7. Register online for MCC classes.
  8. Bring student detail report of registered classes to Maj. Marx. It is critical that you get this to Maj. Marx as soon as possible for scheduling purposes and so that you can get a book voucher.
  9. Fill out a book voucher for those books which SMA will purchase. If you would like to keep your textbooks, you must pay for them. Consequently, in this case, there would be no need for a book voucher.
  10. Get book voucher signature from Col. Cork.

Note:  Books purchased by SMA belong to SMA and must be returned, undamaged at the end of the class. No transcripts will be sent or given out until the books are returned, undamanged. SMA must be reimbursed for damaged or lost books.

As always, one of SMA’s goals is to provide the most rigorous coursework and to encourage our students to expand their horizons as much as possible. We hope this information helps you to take advantage of the opportunities available.
