MICHAEL FINLEY / SMA  DRUMLINE  INSTRUCTOR

Michael has had the privilege to perform with some of the top names in the music industry including STEPHEN STILLS, BOB WELCH (singer/guitarist formerly with FLEETWOOD MAC), RICHARD ELLIOT (chart-topping smooth jazz saxophonist), and DWIGHT YOAKAM (Grammy-award winning country singer and songwriter).

Michael also performed on the “MOTOWN 25 ANNIVERSARY TELEVISION SPECIAL”.

Michael has studied drum set privately with ED GREENE (Nashville and L.A. session drummer), JOE PORCARO (L.A. television and session drummer), and DAVID GARIBALDI (drummer with the Tower of Power).

Michael regularly performs with top corporate band SOMETHING FAMOUS (somethingfamous.com) and the popular rock/rhythm & blues band KOKO RAY and the SOUL PROVIDERS (kokoray.com). Michael also keeps busy with many independent recording projects as well as keeping a full schedule of drum students.

Michael lives in Sarasota, Florida with his wife Victoria and their son Mark-Elliot.
