Self Portrait Mixed Media #2
Cpt Lyon's class participated in the spirit contest by decorating their door. With the help of Hoby Garrett's expertise in 3D art they came up with an awesome door decoration!! GO EAGLES!

Students practiced their carving skills on fruit sculptures before going on to other materials.
Students create beautiful relief sculptures with clay using their newly acquired carving skills combined with their knowledge of the elements and principles of art and design.
Students begin exploring the importance of line and negative space in 3 dimensional design with the construction of a linear sculpture.
Students utilize the principles of art along with recently acquired knowledge of abstract sculpture to create a free form sculpture emphasizing movement, balance and space.
They planned their color scheme to further these principles.
